Work you will do
This role sits within the SAP team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which encompasses the SAP MDG Technical Module solutions respectively. As a leader of this group, you will drive the growth of our SAP business in the region and be responsible for the creation, sale and delivery of SAP solutions: Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, SAP Business Transformation, etc.
- Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements
- Advise clients on industry/ cross-industry leading practices. Advise clients on SAP recommended processes and functions
- Design target state SAP solutions for clients. Influence clients’ thinking in adopting leading/ standard practices while developing target state
- Analyze application landscape to design interfaces to SAP solution
- Perform SAP configuration and tests. Develop specifications for development of forms/ reports/ interfaces.
- Lead the consultant and client teams through the implementation cycle including planning and execution of testing, migration and cutover.
- Support change management execution by developing training material, delivering training and supporting users post cutover.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG Technical Development
- Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP MDG implementation projects
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG Data Models (BP, Material, Vendor, Finance, etc.)
- Proficient in SAP ABAP including:
- ABAP OO (Object-Oriented)
- Web Dynpro ABAP
- Floorplan Manager (FPM)
- BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus)
- Experience with SAP MDG Enhancements and Customizations (Data Model Extension, UI Modifications, Workflow Customization)
- Exposure to SAP BTP / SAP Workflow Management or MDG on S/4 HANA
- Experience in multi-country rollout or regulated industries (e.g., pharma, finance)
- Knowledge of Data Replication Framework (DRF) and Key Mapping / Value Mapping
- Ability to design and implement flexible workflows and Rule-based Workflows
- Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with Data Migration Tools (e.g., SAP LTMC, LSMW, BAPIs, etc.)
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA MDG architecture
- Experience integrating SAP MDG with other systems (SAP and non-SAP)
- Knowledge of ALE/IDoc, Web Services, and REST/OData APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing role
