Strategy and Operations Lead, Go-to-Market

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in strategy/operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing business plans, setting and supporting delivery against OKRs.
- Proven success in project management and execution, multi-tasking and delegating.
- Knowledge of digital ads and Google's business.
- Structured problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will act as a key business partner to the Thailand Country Manager. You will provide business critical insights and recommendations, ensure cross-functional alignment across business plans and execution goals, and help teams drive initiatives forward. You will stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations and execution, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth scalable initiatives.
As a Go-to-Market team member, you will help to set the focus, pace, and direction of our business across Thailand and unite teams to deliver on Google's most important business opportunities by leading, challenging, and enabling our sales organization.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Country Leadership team to develop annual business strategy and opportunity sizing, and define key success metrics and execution plans.
- Respond to problem statements raised by the local leadership team via hypothesis generation, problem solving, and deep competitive/landscape assessments, identifying insights on share of wallet gain opportunities.
- Partner with Country Managers to review organizational efficiencies and develop organization design proposals; and work as a partner/chief of staff the Country Manager to ensure the organization runs well.
- Assess in-market tool and capability needs and develop proposals to enhance operating efficiencies across workflows and process flows.
- Partner with cross-functional business leads to review what's working well and what we could do better to deliver against our annual plan and to achieve service model excellence.
