Solutions Architect, Security, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, Law or Public Policy or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in security solutions for enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software or the security operations team within a consumer internet company
- Experience in the field of technology-related security, privacy, or policy
Preferred qualifications:
- Technical sales experience or professional consulting experience in the fields of security, risk management, compliance and security controls at the systems, network and application level
- Experience with network security technology including intrusion monitoring, threat detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and DDOS prevention solutions
- Deep understanding of data protection technology including encryption, key management, data loss prevention, and hardware security modules
- Deep understanding of identity management systems including directories, access servers, authorization services, identity provisioning and governance systems
- Ability to address CIO and CISO concerns about the security and compliance risks associated with moving workloads to the Cloud

As a Solutions Architect for Security and Compliance, you'll utilize both your technical aptitude and excellent communication skills to address trust during frequent engagements with customers. In this role, you will work with technical sales teams as a security and compliance subject matter expert. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, explaining technical features, helping customers design architectures and problem-solving any potential roadblocks.

Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on areas of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance to Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Legal, and Policy teams
- Work with local sales teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve blockers related to trust
- Assist policy personnel in technical conversations with policy makers, industry bodies and other third-parties to advance Google's message
- Provide feedback to product management in the development of trust-related features and support regional security and compliance accreditation projects. Develop programs to enhance knowledge of trust throughout the organization
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud
