Job Description
To work in detail of database administration activities for :

Oversee day-to-day database operations ensuring performance is in line with SLA targets
Develop and apply procedures for efficient database installation, operation and administration on non-Production,Production and DR environment.
Resolve significant database problems to ensure optimum database operation
Maintain and report database capacity response models and capacity plans

Coordinate with other IT Division units to provide database maintenance and support
Communicate planned outage schedule and major issue status to Help Desk

Determine database fail over and disaster recovery procedures and co-ordinate with System Availability Team
Recommend database technology, architecture and design needed in order to best support the database operations
