Job Description
- To be the focal point of oil price hedging strategies
- To execute oil price paper trading for hedging purpose and prepare relevant data and document
- To utilize energy market updates to provide analysis and price forecast to relevant parties
- To sense and connect news and analysis into derivatives trading action plans
- To present hedging summary in a weekly meeting, with insights, trends, and suggestions
- To monitor leading indicators used as key sources for oil price risk management
- To create and maintain a respectable relationship with traders and banks for sharing necessary market information and ensure timely manner
- Master’s degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering preferred
- Strong English literacy, especially reading and writing. Striving to be a derivatives trader is a plus
- Having background or passion of derivatives/paper trading, global petroleum-related landscape, refinery and petrochemical,
- Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Pivot tables, SQL queries, PowerPoint)
- Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with people of different backgrounds
- Good analytical and presentation skills.
