Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor occupational health and safety activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, procedures, and preventive measures across plant operations.
  • Prepare and maintain Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) reports, including accident statistics, incident records, and emergency drill reports.
  • Deliver safety training, awareness programs, and safety campaigns to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Inspect machinery, equipment, facilities, and working environments to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with external parties, including government authorities, hospitals, and regulatory agencies on safety-related matters.
  • Participate in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support emergency preparedness programs, including fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency response activities.
  • Perform other safety, occupational health, environmental, and related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Professional Safety Officer (PSO) or in a related HSE role.
  • Valid Professional Safety Officer certification as required by Thai labor law.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Understanding of safety management systems within manufacturing or industrial plants.
  • Knowledge of international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GHPs, and HACCP.
  • Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, training, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactive, responsible, and capable of handling emergency situations and workplace safety challenges effectively.
