Associate Merchandisers play a crucial role in driving retail and ecommerce performance at Pomelo Fashion. Working as part of a team of 4 young, fun associate merchandisers, your primary responsibilities revolve around supporting the Merchandiser in various tasks related to product management, sales, and inventory control.

What's your role in the team?

• Data Analysis
  • Use data to identify trends, best-selling items, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Draw actionable insights, such as identifying slow-moving products or overstock situations.
• Assist Buyers and Merchandiser with product selections
  • Pull supporting data to improve style selections
  • Quantify and price styles
• Assist with range planning
  • Help plan the product range, ensuring a balanced and appealing assortment.
• Campaign and Discount Planning
  • Plan and curate onsite trend pages to suit customer preferences and drive engagement
  • Set up and track performance of mega campaigns
  • Plan discount lists to drive performance of your cluster, ensuring discount spend lies within targets
• Optimize product availability instore and online
  • Ensure the right stock, is in the right stores at the right time
  • Transfer inventory across stores to maximize sales and reduce overstock
• Cross functional communication
  • Work closely with campaign/ retail and logistics teams to ensure we are working together to achieve our goals

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in any related field
• Strong aptitude with numbers, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
• Desire to develop merchandise planning skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (Advanced Pivot Table, V-Lookup, etc.).
• Fluent in English
• 1-2 years of experience in fashion merchandising/ ecommerce/ retail management a bonus
