APAC SolDI-Engineering Specialist
ที่ยูพีเอสThe SolDI (Solution, Design & Implementation) Engineering team is part of the Customer Solutions, Business Development function. Primarily, the team plays a supporting role to the customer facing & sales resources for winning business, executing awarded projects such as setting up SOP & implementing the projects.
The team also functions as a consultant to provide study for customer under the scopes Supply Chain Optimization (SCO), Business Process Reengineering (BPR), sustainability & package solutions.
- Supports both SolDI-Engineering Supervisor & Manager on matters pertaining to administration; reports, yearly business planning, trainings, up-to-date records etc.
- Participate in group calls at different levels; within SolDI-Engineering in APAC, APAC Customer Solutions & periodic calls with US colleagues.
- Works closely with the global Solutions team, including those at corporate level, to develop solutions & participate in collaborated projects.
- Supports major enterprise accounts. This will include matters relating to flight matrix, SOP/MOP updates, process improvement & coordination of new projects as assigned by the SolDI Engineering Manager &/or Supervisor. Maintain constant communication with relevant parties for these accounts.
- Establishes & generates customized SOP for required accounts.
- Prepare & in some instances, present to external customers proposed solutions & deliverables. To also participate in customers' review meetings when invited.
- Involved (as Project Manager or member) in assigned Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) & Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) projects at the APAC & global levels. Perform required analysis, studies, reports, presentations & be able to present deliverables to customers.
- Play a leading role to the group in terms of driving complex solutions to customers under the SCO, BPR, package solutions & sustainability services. Conduct trainings & awareness sessions when needed. Target to gain more solutions revenue via these services, thus contributing to the overall revenues of the organization while at the same time generates new/additional businesses from customers.
- Participate & contribute in Supply Chain Mapping (SCM) sessions to be led by customer-facing resources, including attending actual sessions with customers.
- Supports customer-facing resources (in & outside of Customer Solutions group) on complex solutions matters. This will include assigning staffs to assist on a particular project with known expertise in SCO, BPR, package solutions, sustainability etc.
- Supports & coordinates request for sustainability-related opportunities in APAC. Close interactions are required with customer-facing resources & our US Sustainability team in order to come-up with a desired offer for customers.
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Management, Mathematics or Information Systems) or equivalent. 1-3 years of Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Solutions experience will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Good data management skills with proven experience in projects & operational startups.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good command of English (written & oral). Fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
- Good presentation skills & overall appearance.
- Good computer skills especially with MS Office applications (Access, Excel, Power Point, Word).
- Previous experience in Logistics in areas of distribution/transportation with operational management of large/major accounts will be an advantage.
