Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst specializing in API and system integration. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into API specifications and integration requirements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity between internal systems and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes as well as technical concepts related to APIs, web services, and middleware.

Job Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collect and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and users.

• Translate business needs into API and integration requirements.

• Document use cases and data flows between source and target systems.

• API & Integration Design Support

• Create API specifications / Interface Control Documents (ICD).

• Define endpoints, methods (GET/POST/PUT/DELETE), data structures (JSON/XML), and error codes.

• Map data across different systems such as ERP, CRM, mobile apps, and external partner systems.

• Coordination & Communication

• Act as a liaison between business users, developers, middleware teams, and vendors.

• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.

• Support the creation of flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data dictionaries.

• Testing & Validation

• Develop test scenarios and UAT scripts for APIs.

• Validate API functionality using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.

• Analyze error logs and responses to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Governance & Documentation

• Prepare documentation including functional specifications, API catalogs, and knowledge base articles.

• Monitor API usage to ensure compliance with security, governance, and SLA requirements.

• Support the creation of API inventory and monitoring processes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor (with GPA at least 2.5 for Engineer & 2.75 for IT ) or Master degree in Business Computer ,Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.

• Strong understanding of API, web services (REST/SOAP), middleware, and integration architecture.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or API Gateway.

• Proficiency in requirement analysis, process mapping, and data mapping.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum projects, using tools like Jira or Confluence, is an advantage.

• Good command of English (TOEIC ≥ 550 or equivalent).
