JOB SCOPE AND

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network admin to join our Global network team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with manufacturing networks.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

Perform routine network maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure that the network is operating at an optimal level.

Ensure the security and integrity of the network by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.

Monitor network usage and bandwidth to identify and address issues related to performance and capacity.

Configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.

Implement and maintain network protocols and services, such as DHCP, DNS, and SNMP.

Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop and implement network policies and procedures.

Stay up-to-date with GNOC to ensure 24x365 support for the operations.

NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

INTERNAL : coordination with the local IT teams, managing integration projects accordingly with the Global network CoE

EXTERNAL : vendor coordination and order management

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

Minimum 5 years of experience in a network admin role, preferably in the manufactory.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships.

Strong knowledge of network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Experience leading and managing projects related to network integration.

Experience working in an international environment.

Fluent English, another additional European language is a plus.

Flexibility to travel.

Knowledge of Palo Alto platform is a plus.
