Summary and Description

At Krungsri Nimble, we are the innovation-driven tech arm of Krungsri Group,We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade microservice and batch applications. This role focuses mainly on backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch, with some involvement in frontend support, CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment, production troubleshooting, and AI-assisted software engineering practices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices for business-critical systems.

• Implement REST APIs, service logic, validation, database integration, error handling, and logging.

• Develop and enhance Spring Batch jobs for file processing, database processing, scheduled jobs, and high-volume data workflows.

• Design batch jobs with restartability, retry/skip handling, idempotency, and operational recovery in mind.

• Review technical design, API contracts, code quality, test coverage, and production readiness.

• Troubleshoot application, database, integration, deployment, and production issues.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployment, Kubernetes/OpenShift, environment configuration, logs, and deployment verification.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineers to deliver reliable software.

• Mentor junior and middle engineers through code review, design guidance, debugging support, and engineering best practices.

• Apply AI tools responsibly to support coding, testing, documentation, debugging, and code review while validating correctness and security.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Spring Batch, batch processing, scheduled jobs, or large-volume data processing.

• Good understanding of microservice architecture, API integration, transaction handling, and failure scenarios.

• Experience with relational databases, MSSQL, JPA/Hibernate, indexing basics, and query performance troubleshooting.

• Strong unit testing and integration testing skills using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipeline, and deployment workflow.

• Basic experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code, and refactoring.

• Able to communicate technical risks, design decisions, and implementation trade-offs clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift platform.

• Experience supporting production systems, incident investigation, and release verification.

• Knowledge of observability concepts such as health checks, metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting.

• Experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, NextJS, or NodeJS for minor frontend support.

• Experience with API security, authentication/authorization, secure coding, and secrets handling.

• Experience using AI tools for software development, testing, documentation, or productivity improvement.

• Experience in banking, financial services, enterprise integration, or high-compliance environments.
