Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a 3AC Network Simulation System Engineering (6 months Internship Program) for Traction Power Supply Systems in the field of Railway Electrification.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Supporting roles - System engineering tasks of project execution work packages. Study report preparation of AC, DC Traction Power Supply (TPS) substations for rail electrification systems.
• Implementing Network utility Traction study simulations including Utility Load flow study, Harmonics Simulation, Protection philosophy and Protection relay coordination with Rail Electrification network.

Education

• 3rd year student or over studying in Electrical Engineering in the curriculum of Railway electrification, Power system distribution, Power system control and protection and Power system quality.

Knowledge/ Experience/ Languages

• Knowledge of High-Medium voltage technology with good understanding of Power system calculation.
• Power system protection, Traction Substation, Electrical MV distribution networks
• Knowledge of AC Load flow.
• Knowledge in the areas of grounding, lightning protection, fault analysis, Power quality, electrical safety and measurements in electrical systems.
• Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English.

Desirable

• Experience in Design and Engineering of Electrical Substations.
• Intercultural experience.
