- Be a primary legal advisor to Managing Director and Business Divisions on all legal related matters, risk management and compliance
- Provide strategic and holistic advice starting from pre-decision input to final execution.
- Ensure compliance and Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validate legal related matters through implementation of all business projects
- Review all commercial agreements and assist with negotiation.
- Support in ESG and IRM
- Promote compliance awareness through development and delivery of internal trainings
- Establish relevant local policies and procedures
- Advise and support management in establishing and executing action plans to address deficiencies detected in compliance audits and investigations.
- Manage legal function, legal budgets and relationship with external law firms
- Manage Management's expectations on legal support and risk management, influencing and supporting all key business stakeholders to align with company's vision.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Legally qualified in Thailand or other common law jurisdictions with expertise in advising on Corporate, Distribution, Compliance and ESG issues.
- At least 5 years+ experience practicing corporate / commercial law in top tier law firms and prior experience with multinational companies advising on corporate commercial matters, distribution and compliance.
