Job Summary

We are looking for a Human-Centric Designer to transform the distribution and customer experiences in our life insurance business. You will design digital sales and service touchpoints that are intuitive, empathetic, and accessible, ensuring our solutions meet the real needs of policyholders, agents, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research with policyholders, agents, and stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Develop personas, empathy maps, and customer journey maps specific to life insurance products and services.
• Ideate, prototype, and iterate on digital and service solutions (e.g., policy onboarding, claims, agent tools) based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure designs are feasible, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all customer-facing touchpoints.
• Present and communicate design concepts and rationale to business and technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in insurance and digital design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI, service design, or human-centered design roles, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating human-centric design projects, ideally in life insurance or related sectors.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing in regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills.
• Empathy, curiosity, and a passion for improving life insurance experiences.
• Knowledge of digital sales tools, agent platforms, and customer self-service solutions (Preferred).
