One day to get to know us
This begins with a one-day qualification class for all applicants who are approved for this job. This serves as a way for YOU to evaluate us and understand what it takes to become a valuable asset for our company. If you feel that we are not a good match for you, this gives you the opportunity to decline.
If you join, we expect to be able to hire you. Therefore you should only join if you are seriously interested and expecting to be hired with our company in a SALES position!
This day-class is fun and intense. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided for. After the day-class we will know your level of commitment, which position you qualify for and any tasks you are more suited for, so that we may optimize your ability to succeed and contribute within our company. We will also explain commissions, basis for salary, targets and growth potential.
TRAINING CAMP STARTING 29 JUNE 2026
Prior to Employment you will need training. This is a separately organized Training Camp lasting for about 3 weeks effective time. Training will cover topics such as music copyrights, music licensing, sales strategies, negotiation techniques, legal training, GDPR, music and much more! Training cost, food and accommodation (if needed) is paid by the company. You will also be paid a grant to compensate for your daily expenses.
We expect all participants to become fully qualifies and Employment begins on the 1st of August 2026.
EMPLOYMENT
During employment you will be provided with the mobile equipment you need (Mac + iPhone w dedicated number) and other fixed equipment by your office desk such as additional large displays. During the initial 3 months you will be provided with additional weekly training and then occasionally throughout the employment whenever needed. During the first 6 months a senior will accompany you to customer visits, after which you are expected to be ready to visit customers on your own. After this point we offer a 4-day office policy whereas you will be able to work from home typically one day per week.
SALARIES
As you increase your client portfolio and maintain it well (customers normally stay year-on-year) you will benefit from a compound effect that allows you to build a fast increasing and stable income long-term.
Salary ranges from 35,000-70,000 Bt/month when including the expected average commissions once you are "warmed up". The base salary level depends on your qualifications and the size of the client portfolio you are entrusted with. You can typically expect a minimum of 20% increase in salary per year, but may be much higher if you are good. However, during the first few months you may not yet earn any commissions as it normally takes a couple of months to land your first customer contract.
BE YOUR OWN BOSS
You can more or less "be your own boss" as your salary is linked with the revenues generated by your client portfolio. The greater the effort and success, the higher salary you will earn. Within our framework you generate and "own" your own business without the risk and admin involved in actually running your own company. Subject to our overall company strategies and policies; it's an extremely independent job, but we also work as a team to evaluate and discuss customer proposals as well as developing our skill sets and our ability to solve problems. We meet daily in the office or over video with Friday dinners and drinks at least once a month. We typically work from our office 2-4 days per week while at other times you may visit customers or work from home (once you are fully trained).
This position is based in Bangkok, Huamak area in Bangkapi. Working hours are 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Open for Thai citizens only.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be an ambassador for We Soundtrack and Epidemic Sound in all aspects of the position both in your work and privately.
- Be able to communicate in English well both verbally and in written form in a polite manner.
- Have a complete understanding of Epidemic Sound's business model (training provided).
- Be able to naturally share about Epidemic Sound's unique concepts in conversation, identify customer's needs, negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Continually prospect for new customers through research, through your current network, customer recommendations, internal analytics, cold emails and calls including cold walk-ins, markets/ conferences and other lead generation methods.
- Be able to handle software like spreadsheets, word processing, calendars and other online admin tools like Slack, Zoom, Google apps etc. (Mac experience is a plus).
- Maintain accurate records of all activities in our CRM.
- Able to provide customer training of Epidemic Sound's platform including having a good understanding of music and musical genres for the purpose of curation support (training provided).
- Able to assist in managing our team and provide staff support and training internally as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications needed to become a good at Enterprise Sales
- Good Communication Skills, social skills, easy to make friends with, nice personality, humor, problem solver.
- Being honest, transparent and accurate.
- Be an entrepreneurial "go-getter".
- Be able to communicate in English well both verbally and in written form in a polite manner.
- Be able to address a small crowd in a confident way.
- Comfortable in dealing with authoritative people (being less greng-jai is very helpful).
- Good at problem solving.
- Good at juggling multiple tasks and developing your own routines for daily tasks.
- Negotiation skills and especially selling on Value with the ability to close deals without discounting.
- Fast Learner.
- Good understanding of sales and business.
- Good understanding of social media, pop culture.
- Good understanding of music.
- Bonus: A network from within corporate brands/MNC's or creative industry/content producers may be helpful.
- Bonus: If you also happen to speak Vietnamese (in addition to English), you may be a good fit for our international team.
