We are in search of a D2C & E-Commerce Manager to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Role Summary
Building the fan’s engagement for the artists under Universal Music Group is the crucial strategy that we are focusing. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the physical products and merchandising strategies for all D2C (Direct-To-Customer) centric channels. Leading the team on release plan and control manufacturing lead-time efficiency. This position will also be responsible for budgeting and pricing strategies for all merchandise and physical products on both international and domestic artists. You can also expand the opportunities to license out the music, merchandise rights, logo, likeness and artist assets to external parties to develop artist’s additional popularity, coverage and revenue.
About the role:
  • Working closely with artists team and marketing team on artist’s roadmap and release plan
  • Developing and implementing merchandising strategies that align with overall annual business goal and target
  • Analysing product performance, identifying trends, and report on product sales performance including other commercial insights
  • Determining optimal pricing strategies and recommending promotional activities to drive sales
  • Building business partnerships with brands to expand merchandise collaboration and licensing opportunities
  • Managing customer feedback, enquiries and concerns professionally
  • Having strong passion in music and eager to learn new systems
Desirable Traits:
  • Bachelor degree or higher on marketing, communications, operation management or related fields
  • At least 5 years experiences in e-commerce, online marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, business development or equivalent
  • High problem-solving skill and strong attribute in time & project management
  • Strong project management skill and leadership. Able to delegate and utilize team members
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while meeting critical deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software
  • Ability to create, analyze, and comprehend marketplace data and sales analytics for use in forecasting, production, and communication with others
  • Good verbal and written English communications skills. Fluent in Thai on all communication skills
  • Experienced in Entertainment and Artist management is preferred
  • Passionate about fashion, art and collectable items is a plus
