YOUR ROLE
The Host Organisation Team Associate is a dynamic and entrepreneurial role that will be accountable for the execution of new business acquisition in the APAC region. The role will be accountable for developing & executing our global business development strategy across the APAC region and will work across email, phone, Linkedin and networking initiatives to drive an enhanced acquisition process. This role will be instrumental in opening up exciting new opportunities for our interns in the APAC region, using intelligent comms and automation to approach companies and secure new partnerships before handing over to our local placement teams.The HOT Associate will support regional placement teams to focus on BD and placement for specific participants, university cohorts and difficult individual placement processes. The HOT Associate will work closely with all of our specialist global teams, aligning strategy and helping to pitch opportunities to university partners, NGOs and governments to drive growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about international education and is confident in growing a new sales function regional to help TIG achieve our long term growth strategy.
Office Location: Bangkok
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Execution of regional business development and all initial communication and sales with prospective partners
Close communication and strategizing with placement/in-country teams to maximise the success of our business development projects.
Onboarding of new clients into our system and management of the handover process to local placement teams
Aligning our supply of opportunities to meet the demands of our University Partner team and Admissions requirements through setting targets for partner acquisition in ‘weak’ sector areas.
Building and key account managing relationships with global, multinational partner organisations
Support our Global Partnership Team to source tailored opportunities for university cohorts
YOUR SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
First-class sales skills and experience.
People and project leadership skills
A competitive edge and target driven
Strong competencies with databases and sales software
Alignment with our Purpose and Values: People focused, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Global Leadership
Understanding of automation and process alignment.
Strong communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Exceptional organisation and time management skills
Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
Process-driven and possess the ability to lead process improvement.
Project management and delivery experience
Vision - Ability to see the growth potential of this sub-function & and processes on a global scale.
Right to work in either Bangkok or Hong Kong
Great to have:
A grasp of Thai, Chinese and Japanese
Previous experience in regional sales processes
