Job Overview
The Head of Group Technology Procurement at SCBX Group is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Group CTO. This role is responsible for overseeing technology procurement across the entire group, driving cost savings, ensuring compliance, and building a high-performing procurement team. The successful candidate will lead the transformation from traditional procurement to AI-assisted and automated procurement practices, establishing a future-ready procurement operations model, standards, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and build a high-performing technology procurement team of 20+ professionals.
- Oversee procurement activities across the group, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive cost optimization and compliance across all technology procurement initiatives.
- Develop and enhance the group procurement operations model, standards, and policies.
- Champion the adoption of AI and automation in procurement processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Establish a group-wide vendor management function to ensure strategic partnerships and performance.
- Manage strategic procurement initiatives and collaborate with the Head of General Procurement.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders across the group to ensure seamless procurement operations.
- Utilize Oracle FMS and other enterprise tools to support procurement activities and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in procurement and process improvement within a group environment.
- Strong understanding of AI and automation technologies and their application in procurement.
- Experience with Oracle Financial Management System (FMS).
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
