Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly versatile, business-savvy Head of Finance to support the fast growth of PropertyScout from currently 300 staff and 3 Finance & Accounting team members to >600 staff within 18 months. You will report directly to the CEO who is a former CFO and you are going to own and drive all day-to-day management of accounting and finance, business intelligence, and legal matters.

• Accounting & Finance (team of 3 FTEs with Assistant Accounting and Finance Manager as direct subordinate)
  • Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, month- and year-end closings,and management accounting
  • Ensure timely and satisfactory annual audits
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual results and conduct variance analysis
  • Conduct revenue and costs analysis to optimize the business
• Legal: Manage all legal-related matters with outside counsel.
• Based on the experience of the candidate, the role could additionally include the leadership of the business intelligence team (2 FTEs): Support the organization with business-critical analysis across all departments using data from our CRM and Postgres database and using Excel and Google DataStudio to analyze and present the data.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in accounting & finance with a proven track record of leading teams and managing operations
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Solid understanding of financial management and accounting
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Highly effective in multi-task and works well with multiple deadlines
• Outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to detail, well-organized, with a sense of urgency
• Fluency in English
