Job Description & Summary

A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You'll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.
Our Risk and Quality team identifies and assists internal teams to mitigate and control client engagement risks. As part of the team, you'll provide advice to business teams within PwC on sound contract provisions, standards and approaches in accordance with PwC policies, principles and standards.

• Establish the updated policies and procedures regarding the AML/KYC and sanction laws.
• Conduct AML and sanction law risk assessment and prepare an annual plan.
• Implement the measures to mitigate money laundering risk, including guidelines on the customer due diligence following the latest local Anti-Money Laundering Act and PwC Network policies and standards.
• Provide advice to all relevant departments/divisions in line with the AML/KYC procedures and policies related to sanction screening.
• Deliver training courses to partners and staff to promote awareness of the AML/KYC and sanction screening procedures, relevant laws and regulations and requirements of the policies.
• Review AML client due diligence (AMLCDD) checks and all relevant documents, including results from the World-Check database and client documentation/information submitted by relevant departments and approve the AMLCDD report to be issued.
• Conduct AML Compliance testing every quarter to ensure that the AML processes are followed.
• Support an annual review on the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls related to AML and sanction laws.
• Be a point of contact on AML/ Sanction laws Network Standards
• Reach out to the Network SME on any complex AML/ KYC and sanction law matters as well as any potential breaches
