Position Summary

The Application Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial offers for pumps and spare parts, generating CAD drawings, coordinating with sub-suppliers for non-standard items, and ensuring accurate updates in CRM and SAP B1 systems. This role is crucial in supporting the sales team, ensuring technical accuracy, and providing timely responses to customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Offer Preparation

Prepare technical and commercial offers for pumps and spare parts based on customer requirements and specifications.

Select suitable pump types and configurations in accordance with application and process needs.

Ensure all quotations are accurate in terms of pricing, technical data, and delivery times.

• CAD Drawing & Documentation

Create and modify CAD drawings for pump layouts, assemblies, and related components.

Maintain drawing records and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Support technical documentation needs for project bids and order processing.

• Coordination with Sub-Suppliers

Request quotations from sub-suppliers for non-standard items not listed in the standard price list.

Evaluate and compare sub-supplier quotations for technical and commercial alignment.

Maintain strong communication to ensure lead times and technical requirements are met.

• CRM & SAP B1 Updates

Update CRM with quotation details, revisions, and status tracking.

Process pump and spare part orders in both CRM and SAP B1 systems.

Ensure all system records are accurate and up-to-date to support order fulfillment and reporting.

• Sales & Project Support

Support the sales team during the bidding stage by providing technical clarification and documentation.

Review and verify order requirements before processing.

Communicate with the factory for technical specifications and order follow-ups.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Experience:

1–3 years in application engineering, technical sales, or related roles in the pump or rotating equipment industry.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of pump types and applications.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Familiarity with CRM and SAP B1 systems (preferred).

Language Skills:

Good command of English (written & spoken).

Other Skills:

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
