ROLE SUMMARY

The Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) team is responsible for engineering and operating Group Engineering’s core infrastructure services - including data centres, storage, private cloud, platforms, databases, and middleware. Our mission is to modernize and transform both customer experience and internal operations by leveraging automation and Platform-as-a-Product principles. We aim to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure products that enable business growth and future transformation.

A key driver of this transformation is the Infrastructure Consumption Platform (ICP): a strategic data product suite that enables infrastructure usage analytics and forecasting, compliance assurance, and multiyear transformation planning capabilities. ICP provides actionable insights into infrastructure consumption and empowers data-driven decision-making across engineering and business domains, supporting cost optimization, risk management, and transformation initiatives.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Data, to own and deliver the technical architecture and strategic roadmap for ICP, through leadership of a cross-location team. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to embed a product operating model, drive its adoption across the function, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy. To succeed in this role, you should be deeply curious about the “why” behind the data; focused not just on engineering elegant solutions, but also understanding the business questions that drive them. You will care about what the data represents, why it matters, and how your engineering choices can unlock strategic insight.

You will engage senior stakeholders across business units, architecture, engineering, and operations to influence priorities and deliver measurable business value. You will have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, combined with a proactive approach to solving complex challenges. You will be comfortable navigating both executive-level strategic discussions and technical deep dives, and will invest time in exploring emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities. Broad familiarity with IT infrastructure technologies and the ability to influence and communicate effectively across global teams and senior stakeholders are essential for success.
