Responsibilities

• Working with cutting-edge data-driven solutions to client problems

• Data exploration, quality assessment, and cleansing

• Implementing predictive statistical, machine learning, and optimization models

• Deploying and running models in production

• Evaluating and developing new algorithms and methods

• Improving data science tooling and tech stack with best practices

• Understanding clients’ processes and communicating your solutions and results to stakeholders

• Leading projects to completion

• Communicating technical solutions and model results back to the clients

• Guiding junior data scientists to develop their skills

• Improving the data science processes and developing best practices

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience working in a data department, preferably as a DS in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
• Experience using statistical computer languages ( Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Understanding the possibilities and limitations of machine learning principles and techniques.
• Able to use cloud computing e.g. AWS EC2.
• Business experience, industry expertise, project management, or research background is a big plus
• Able to communicate in English(middle level).
• Able to take care of the junior data scientists he exercises and provides progressive expertise on statistical and mathematical concepts to build a better analytic team
