B2B & Partnership Marketing Specialist

About the role
This role is responsible for expanding business partner networks and creating sales opportunities through B2B and B2B2C channels. This includes identifying new partners and business opportunities, analyzing potential and initial value, presenting and negotiating collaborations, and driving partnerships or promising projects to completion. The position requires the ability to think beyond assigned partner lists and identify additional partners, channels, or collaboration models that align with the company's business direction and objectives.
Key responsibilities
Seek out and develop collaborations with business partner groups such as hotels, airlines, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) like Klook, KKday, Trip.com, financial institutions, credit card companies, and tourism-related businesses
- Contact, present proposals to, and negotiate collaboration formats with potential partners
- Build and maintain relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities for expanded collaboration
- Manage partners or clients handed over from the Sales team and continuously follow up on opportunities
- Study and identify new partners, channels, or business opportunities that can support company growth
- Conduct preliminary analysis of potential expansion into business groups, geographic areas, channels, or collaboration models
- Gather relevant data to assess potential, revenue opportunity, required resources, and initial value of each opportunity
- Compare and prioritize opportunities to recommend which should be pursued, adjusted, or deferred
- Create and develop special privileges, joint promotions, packages, campaigns, or collaboration formats with partners
- Propose collaboration models that create mutual benefits between the company and partners
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations, Sales, and relevant departments to drive partnerships to execution
- Oversee and coordinate installation or placement of marketing materials both offline and online at partner service points such as hotel counters or partner locations
- Follow up with partners and business opportunities continuously from initial contact, proposal, and negotiation through launch
- Adjust presentation approaches or find alternative solutions when facing negotiation constraints or obstacles
- Take ownership of driving work and not abandon opportunities simply because initial negotiations were unsuccessful
- Coordinate and resolve issues to keep work moving forward within the scope of authority granted
- Monitor partnership or campaign results after execution
- Compile data such as revenue, bookings, customer usage, conversion, or feedback from partners based on measurable information
- Propose approaches for developing collaboration such as continue, improve, expand, or scale up
- Prepare progress reports and summarize business opportunities for management consideration
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Tourism, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership, B2B Sales, Account Management, Marketing Partnership, or related fields
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships and approach new contacts effectively
- Ability to analyze data and conduct preliminary business opportunity assessment
- Ability to manage multiple partners or projects simultaneously and prioritize work
- Ability to use English for business communication
- Experience in Travel, Hospitality, Airline, OTA, Tourism Platform, or Service Business will be given special consideration
