The Regional Protective Services team is a core part of GP&S with members based out of various regions of the world.
Job Summary
The Regional Protective Services (RPS) Associate Manager/ Spealist is a full-time role responsible for incident and crisis management, emergency preparedness, physical security, and standards compliance; facility threat, vulnerability and risk assessments; workplace violence prevention; travel security; geo-political threat monitoring; corporate security related training. They also support investigations, behavioral threat assessment and management; executive protection and event security; within the area of responsibility and the region. They will be providing guidance and support in a complicated corporate environment that values collaboration, independent thinking, proactive problem-solving, integrity, collegiality, efficiency, and continuous organizational transformation.
They are expected to develop a close collaborative relationship with Accentureâs Business, IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Travel, Workplace, and HR leaders as well as with domestic and foreign law enforcement and diplomatic and intelligence services. This role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders and flexibility to be on call 24/7, travel 25% of the time, and work outside normal business hours. The role will also support the wider APAC Regional Protective Services team.
Requirements:
- BachelorÂīs degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Industry-recognized local and international professional security certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant security experience or equivalent in private, government, or security forces.
- Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience working directly with Corporate Security functions.
- Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience with Microsoft Office products and programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Security Management: âĒ Foster security culture and awareness. âĒ Apply broad security risk management knowledge, understanding policies, procedures, and frameworks to enable business operations activities. âĒ Contribute / implement security strategy, plans, procedures, and controls.
âĒ Identify, anticipate, assess, and help resolve complex business challenges where collaboration and cooperation between individuals is often needed to affect the solution. âĒ Conduct threat, vulnerability and risk assessments. âĒ Cultivate, build engagement / relationships with internal and external stake holders including vendors, industry organizations, law enforcement and other related government agencies.
âĒ Establish near term goals and provide input to longer term goals within the area of responsibility. âĒ Maintain awareness of relevant regulations and decisions. âĒ Ensure GP&Sâs guidance and response actions align with Accentureâs policies.
Crisis Management, Risk Intelligence, Event Monitoring, and Employee Notification: âĒ As SME (crisis and emergency management) serve as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders. âĒ Deal with difficult and sensitive situations appropriately and confidentially. âĒ Manage incident notifications and security assessments by vendors to ensure timely receipt of information and analysis on events which could impact Accentureâs facilities, people, or operations.
âĒ Oversee the dissemination of such information to Accenture leadership and coordinate any messaging to employees. âĒ Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations from the Regional Protective Services (RPS) and Accenture Security Operations Center (ASOCs).
Personnel Security: âĒ Support and deputize for the Employee Assistance Officer on Behavioral Threat Assessment Teams (BTAT). âĒ Support employees/contractors/clients affected by internal / external security incidents. âĒ Support and assist the GP&S Intelligence team in conducting and disseminating threat assessments for domestic and international operations.
âĒ Support security awareness training. âĒ Support executive protection and event security management. âĒ Cultivate and build engagement/relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, industry organizations (OSAC, ASIS, etc.), law enforcement, and other government agencies.
âĒ Develop, collaborate and maintain strategic relationships with Employee Assistance Office, Employee Relations, Legal, HR, Workplace, IT, Travel, and local leadership.
