Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute finance transformation strategy, including roadmap, business cases, and key performance indicators.
• Assess current state of finance functions: processes (e.g. Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A), systems, data, organization, controls.
• Design target operating model: process flows, governance, roles & responsibilities, shared services / centers of excellence.
• Lead selection, implementation, and integration of finance technologies: ERP, CPM (Corporate Performance Management), BI/analytics tools, automation (RPA, AI).
• Drive process improvements and process redesign to achieve higher efficiency, reduce cost, increase accuracy.
• Enhance financial planning & analysis capabilities: budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, self-service reporting.
• Ensure data quality, data management, and reporting improvements.
• Manage change: stakeholder management, communications, training, and adoption.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage external consultants / partners where applicable.
• Monitor transformation progress, track benefits realization, risk management.
• Contribute to business development: proposals, client pitches in finance transformation domain.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent; MBA or professional accounting qualification (CPA / CA) often preferred.
• Strong background in finance operations and accounting: knowledge of IFRS / GAAP, financial close, external reporting, intercompany / consolidation, etc.
• Experience in process redesign / optimization and change management.
• Proven experience implementing or transforming finance technologies (ERP, FP&A tools, automation).
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to model business cases, financial impact, KPIs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—able to engage with senior executives.
• Leadership skills: managing teams, cross-functional coordination.
• Experience working in consulting or large-scale transformation engagements is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves

• Industry experience relevant to client: e.g. financial services, manufacturing, retail, hospitality etc.
• Prior experience in shared services, centers of excellence, or global finance operations.
• Familiarity with emerging tech (AI, machine learning, applied intelligence) in finance.
• Experience with data analytics platforms / BI tools / visualization (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
