As part of the SEA Power & Utilities (P&U) business of BV, we are looking for an outstanding candidate and recognized wind industry leader to join the global Renewables team. Reporting to the VP, Emerging ASEAN countries, this is an exciting role to leave your mark in shaping a world of trust and building the power sector of tomorrow.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure fundamental understanding of the SEA Power & Utilities market segment (clients, competitors, partners, opportunities, business environment, regulation)
  • Define and support the country in executing the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand Bureau Veritas P&U's customer base.
  • Provide leadership, governance and support to the Power & Utilities Manager, Business Development team and Renewable Technical Center within SEA.
  • Own the regional opportunity pipeline within the Power & Utilities market segment
  • Identify leads, develop opportunities and generate sales
  • Ensure regular customer interaction and key account management at C-level and operational levels of BVs Power & Utilities customers
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Plan and deploy marketing campaigns incl. participation in trade shows
  • Liaise with the Power & Utilities Global Service Line team and Technical Centers to get their support to our team within SEA.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education in engineering (master or equivalent)
  • Recognized wind industry leader & expert with a min. of 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector (ideally both on developer/owner/operator/OEM/contractor, as well as supply chain side)
  • Deep understanding of testing, inspection, certification and technical services including Owner Engineer related to renewable energy assets (Wind experience, in addition, is an advantage)
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience related to sales & business development
  • Minimum of experience in managing sales teams and key account managers
  • Proven track record of growing sales
  • Deep technical knowledge across the whole asset lifecycle of the renewable energy sector
  • Fluent in English
  • Outstanding commercial and technical pedigree
