GROUP IT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The group IT development officer will work on cutting edge information technologies that powers POEM's businesses both in the front office and in the back office. He/she will maintain and improve current information technologies as well as expanding the scope of technology use to help empower all employees and customers at POEM.

• The information technologies utilised by POEM range from high velocity enterprise systems and cloud-based web apps to smart buildings and the internet of things. As such, the group IT development officer will be versatile in understanding and maintaining a wide range of systems using different protocols.
• Technology is always changing, and POEM's systems are updated to newer implementations in an on-going basis.
• The group IT development officer will work with outsourced parties working on different systems. He/she will work on internal processes to unify and standardise all systems as well as making sure outsourced work follow the standards and convention of current POEM systems.
• The group IT development officer will assist POEM's staff with IT related issues from time to time.

• Preferred candidates will have/be:
• Newly graduated with a bachelor's degree in any field is welcomed.
• Experience in web/web app coding. Experience in Ruby on Rails, PHP, Node.js and SQL is preferred.
• Good English communication skills are preferred. Fluent in speaking and writing Thai.
• Energetic, self-organized and self-motivated with strong leadership abilities.
• Hardworking, honest, possessing an open and communicative management style, good follow-up abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Sufficiently mature to be committed to teamwork and transparency and to credibly represent the organization in the business community.
