Job Purpose:

Fully taking care of operation of all aspects of ILP portfolio model and mutual funds starting from monitoring, optimizing, and perform model & fund changes including asset allocation changes, adding and removing funds from model, and adding and removing funds from FWD and SCB universe.

As a qualified fund manager, taking part of developing, managing, and optimizing investment models to achieve our clients’ risk/rewards target. Examining mismatched investments in customer portfolios and implementing strategies to rebalance them to align with appropriate risk levels.

Role and responsibilities:

• Process preliminary fund selection and addition including fund and fund house due diligence, review agreement and related matters.
• Coordinate and follow up with internal and external regulator on new regulation regarding ILP and mutual funds
• Monitor FWD and SCB universe of mutual funds’ performance on monthly and quarterly basis
• Provide monthly and quarterly funds performance report for update in ILPSC
• Update and communicate fund announcement and information when there is a significant change to related functions
• Execute model & fund changes in the fund management system and core insurance system.
• Be a contact person with Asset Management Companies and advisors on related ILP issues
• Taking part of optimizing portfolio model methodology currently used for customer investment account.
• Taking part of recommending asset allocation, fund additions and removals with strategic reasons
• Support index selection and management for index-linked products, including execution, option pricing monitoring, and communication of performance and risk insights
• Support the development and review of economic assumptions, including ILP and index-linked, to align with market conditions and strategy
