2 Positions: 1 Electrical Engineer & 1 Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for Quality Control (QC) activities for Electrical or Mechanical installation works in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements.

• Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), Checklists, CCP (Critical Control Point) List, and other relevant quality control documents.

• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements before starting installation work.

• Conduct incoming material inspections and verify that materials and equipment comply with approved specifications and project requirements.

• Perform site inspections during installation activities and ensure that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.

• Monitor Hold Points, Witness Points, and Critical Control Points (CCP) and coordinate inspections with Project Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and subcontractors.

• Identify quality issues and deviations, issue or coordinate NCR (Non-Conformance Report), and follow up corrective actions until NCR closure.

• Conduct final inspections and verify completed installation works before testing, commissioning, and handover.

• Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, checklists, NCR records, and other quality documentation required for project handover.

• Coordinate with Project, Construction, Engineering, Testing & Commissioning, subcontractors, and other relevant teams to resolve quality issues.

• Review test results and verify that systems meet project requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and project handover activities.

• Analyze recurring quality issues, summarize lessons learned, and recommend corrective or preventive actions to improve construction quality.

Specific

Responsibilities by DisciplineElectrical QC Engineer

• Inspect and control the quality of electrical installation works, including cable installation, cable termination, electrical panels, grounding/earthing systems, and related electrical systems.

• Review and verify electrical test results such as Insulation Resistance Test, Continuity Test, Grounding/Earthing Test, and Functional Test.

• Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.

• Use appropriate electrical measuring and testing instruments to verify installation and system quality.

Mechanical QC Engineer

• Inspect and control the quality of mechanical installation works, including piping, HVAC, equipment installation, pumps, valves, supports, and related mechanical systems.

• Review and verify mechanical test results such as Pressure Test, Leak Test, Flushing, Alignment, and Performance Test.

• Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.

• Use appropriate mechanical measuring and testing instruments to verify installation and system quality.

QualificationsGeneral

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, depending on the position applied for.

• Higher Vocational Certificate (Diploma/ปวส.) in a relevant technical field may also be considered for candidates with strong and proven QC experience.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance for MEP construction or installation projects.

• Experience in Data Center, Mission Critical Facility, large-scale MEP, industrial, or complex building projects will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of Quality Plan, ITP, CCP List, Inspection Checklist, Hold Point/Witness Point, and NCR management.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.

• Hands-on experience with relevant electrical or mechanical inspection and testing equipment.

• Good understanding of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and Testing & Commissioning processes.

• Strong documentation and reporting skills with the ability to maintain accurate and systematic quality records.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good coordination and communication skills with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.

• Basic to good command of English for technical documents, drawings, specifications, and project communication is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in Data Center MEP projects is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Data Center construction quality requirements, inspection procedures, Testing & Commissioning, and project handover processes will be an advantage.

• Experience working with Main Contractors, MEP Contractors, Consultants, or Data Center clients will be an advantage.
