Position: Manager, Reinsurance

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Reinsurance team. The Manager will be responsible for managing the reinsurance operations of the company, including developing and implementing reinsurance strategies, negotiating reinsurance contracts, and maintaining relationships with reinsurance partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement reinsurance strategies in line with company goals and objectives
• Negotiate reinsurance contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage reinsurance placements and renewals, including coordinating with brokers and reinsurers
• Monitor and analyze reinsurance market trends and provide recommendations to senior management
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of reinsurance activities to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with reinsurance partners to ensure competitive terms and conditions
• Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and claims, to optimize reinsurance programs
• Manage a team of reinsurance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
• Stay updated on industry developments and changes in reinsurance practices and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in reinsurance, preferably in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of reinsurance principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing reinsurance programs and relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reinsurance software
• Fluency in English and Thai (written and spoken)
