Job Highlight : We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Business Development – Transmission Line to drive new business opportunities across transmission line and electrical infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional to lead the tendering process, develop project cost estimates, build strong client relationships, and contribute to securing profitable projects from government, state-owned enterprises, and private sector clients.

Job Description :

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Transmission Line, Substation, and Electrical Infrastructure projects.

• Monitor and identify tender opportunities from government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and private sector organizations.

• Review tender requirements, specifications, commercial conditions, and bidding documents to assess project opportunities.

• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and commercial proposals for tenders, ensuring competitive pricing and healthy project margins.

• Prepare quotations, business proposals, presentations, and other documents required for bidding and business development activities.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and other internal teams to develop competitive and technically feasible proposals.

• Coordinate and negotiate commercial terms with clients and support contract preparation and execution.

• Ensure effective handover of project budgets, cost estimates, and relevant documentation to the project execution team after contract award.

• Coordinate with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, from project commencement through completion and close-out.

• Review and monitor purchase requisitions and procurement costs for electrical equipment and project-related materials.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to generate future business opportunities.

• Manage vendor/contractor registration and renewal with government, state-owned enterprises, and private sector organizations.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

• Lead, coach, and develop team members to enhance their capabilities and performance.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Tendering, Cost Estimation, Project Management, or related fields.

• Proven experience in cost estimation for Transmission Line, Substation, or Electrical Infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of tendering and bidding processes, particularly for government, state-owned enterprise, and private sector projects.

• Strong knowledge of project costing, budgeting, and commercial evaluation.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, coordination, and client relationship management skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.

• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Willingness to travel for client meetings, tender activities, and project/site visits as required.

• Good command of Thai and English, both written and spoken.
