- Manage day-to-day operations for Derivative products, trade confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle events (rate resets, coupons, unwind) process.
- Ensure accuracy of manual accounting entries (if any) in coordination with Finance team.
- Collaborate with relevant parties (Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Back Office) to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Collateral Management.
- Oversee margining (VM/IM), dispute resolution, and collateral tracking across counterparties and customers.
- Ensure compliance with CSA terms, eligibility criteria, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate reporting and reconciliations related to collateral movements.
- Governance & Compliance.
- Implement robust operational controls, maker-checker processes, and exception handling.
- Support regulatory reporting and audit readiness.
- Develop and update policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership.
- Lead and manage the Derivatives & Collateral team, including workforce planning, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization & Projects.
- Drive initiative, automation and system enhancement projects to improve STP and reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate with technology and relevant teams for system upgrades and UAT.
- Deliver operational efficiency and scalability through process improvement.
- Management Reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate operational reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) on trade volumes, exceptions, collateral movements, and disputes.
- Prepare MIS dashboards and provide report for senior management decision-making.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 8 - 12 years of experience in Global Markets Operations, with strong exposure to derivatives and collateral management.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of derivative products (especially IRD), lifecycle events, and valuation basics.
- Strong accounting knowledge related to derivatives.
- Proficient in computer skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent English communication skills for interaction with global stakeholders.
