About the Role
The Associate Director, Group Healthcare Provider Management plays a critical role in building up consistent core capabilities in vertical integration with healthcare providers across the region and developing market specific execution capabilities to support greenfield ventures in new markets and driving growth.
This role is responsible for managing greenfield development, partnership execution, and synergy initiatives between AIA local insurance business units (LBUs) and AIA healthcare provision assets.
The incumbent will be the lead in executing the start up of greenfield projects and joint ventures, and thereafter manage synergy initiatives with LBUs for their assigned markets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Greenfield Development & Execution
  • Support the Directors in business case development, market assessments, and startup planning for new clinics.
  • Project manage the execution of greenfield healthcare provision projects across his/her assigned key healthcare markets (e.g., TH, MY, SG, HK, PH).
  • Manage partner relationship when it is a joint venture
  • Seek out new greenfield opportunities

Synergy & Network Management
  • Develop and manage synergy initiatives between LBUs and provision assets.
  • Drive vertical integration and steerage mechanisms to enhance provider network performance.
  • Set up performance monitoring dashboard and manage performance against target
  • Support healthcare provision team in developing growth plans
Setting Up Healthcare Provision Asset as Part of AIA
  • Assist healthcare provision asset to set up policies and standards required by AIA of its provision businesses
  • Project manage the implementation of policies and standards to interface with IHS SME leads in AIA
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to assist healthcare provision asset in setting up controls and procedures to comply with AIA policies and standards for healthcare provision business
Driving Growth
  • Assist healthcare provision business in Strat Plan and seeking out greenfield growth opportunities
  • Support the Director in market evaluation and identify and evaluate bolt-on acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field;
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in healthcare operations, strategy, or provider management.
  • Proven track record in executing greenfield healthcare projects and managing partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare business models and clinical operations.
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work across markets and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth.
