Technical

• Knowledge in Oracle RDBMS Architecture.

• Oracle SQL/PLSQL - basic level programming skills
• Exposure to Linux environment as Oracle DBA.
• Daily health check of the Orace Databases and resolve issues proactively.

• Database Performance Tuning :
  - AWR, ASH, TKPROF output analysis
  - OS level diagnosis
  - Explain Plan, Auto Trace analysis
  - Performance issue diagnosis using Oracle Enterprise Manager

• RAC/Single Instance databases. - Build, Maintain and troubleshoot issues
• Oracle Dataguard - Build, Maintain and troubleshoot
• Installation of Oracle Products - Planning capacity, resources, requirements & end-to-end implementation.
• Database CPU/PSU patching
• Installation of OEM and deployment of agents.
• Backup and Recovery - RMAN backup
• Refresh Database as per the requirements of the clients (CLONING).

• Develop/Maintain UNIX Shell scripts/Python scripts for:
  - Monitoring - Database/OS
  - Health check
  - Alerting based on thresholds.

• Upgrade Database from lower version to higher version.
• Assess capacity requirements; monitor database growth and resources usage and report to management.

Softskill

• Proficiency in English Language
