About the Role
As part of our Services and Operations organization, the Travel Configuration Specialist plays an important role in supporting the implementation and integration of the Amadeus Online Booking Tool (OBT—Online Booking Tool) for corporate customers worldwide. You will configure products, support customer activation, maintain data accuracy, and provide functional and technical support during implementations. This position is hands‑on and customer‑focused, suitable for individuals who enjoy problem‑solving and collaborating with global teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Configuration & Customer Support
- Manage and complete incoming service requests within defined timelines, providing guidance to customers and internal teams.
- Implement configuration updates with accuracy and care based on customer requirements and collaborate with the team to support shared goals.
- Escalate issues as needed to maintain customer satisfaction and partner with internal units to resolve implementation or operational challenges.
- Support occasional consulting engagements for key customers and contribute to documentation standards and templates.
- Quality & Process Improvement
- Maintain and improve internal documentation, processes, and support tools while ensuring repository accuracy.
- Track time accurately for reporting and contribute to team initiatives, audits, and engagement activities.
- Coach and support new team members.
- Engagement & Learning
- Share knowledge and assist colleagues with evolving processes and projects.
- Continue developing your understanding of Amadeus products through formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects to support customer‑focused outcomes.
Relevant Experience
At least 3years of experience in implementation or product support in the travel industry.
- High attention to detail, documentation discipline, and well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with global teams and supporting customers across regions.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, including creating and presenting reports.
- Ability to read and construct XML documents.
- Effective communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is welcomed but not required.
- Knowledge of Amadeus solutions and incident/problem management processes is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
This role requires valid and unrestricted work rights in Thailand.
