Job Purpose:

This role will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases for multiple applications/software across squads. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades and projects.

Responsibility:

• Forward plan the release of software life-cycles across a squad
• Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
• Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
• Feature/Software deployment, run and Implementation Plans
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists
• Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
• Maintain documentation related to procedures on build, release ,and dependencies.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• 2-3 years experience in using project or release management tools
• Strong knowledge in software development, design pattern and framework
• Strong knowledge in Agile software development
• Good knowledge in software configuration management
• Good knowledge in walkthroughs, checkpoint reviews and inspections
• Good knowledge in test result analyzing and reporting
• Good knowledge in financial services industry
• Extremely proficient in modern coding and design practices
• Extremely proficient in one or more mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
