Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice, consultation and assistance with respect to legal and compliance matters in Thailand.
• Draft, review and revise legal contracts, letters of agreement or legal documentations, handle legal matters relating to corporate affairs of the company.
• Ensure compliance and implementation of all Group Policies, Corporate Governance and Practices in relation to the Thailand office.
• Assistance in monitoring the company activities whether or not in compliance of the legal/regulatory requirements.
• Provide support and conduct compliance training or awareness as and when required.
• Responsible for liaison, support, cooperation and coordination with regulators, external lawyers and legal counsels from the Group.
• Being contact point & Support Line as Data Protection Officer for Thailand office to monitor Personal Data Collection and Processing processes to ensure compliance with Thailand PDPA and Group PDPA Policy.
• Attend to sustainability matters and reporting as and when required.

Requirements

• Graduate with a Bachelor Law Degree with minimum 2nd Class qualification.
• Has a minimum of 3 years of legal and compliance experience, preferably in-house.
• Experience in payment industry and/or regulatory compliance will be an added advantage.
• Member of the Law Society of Thailand and has practiced as a lawyer in Thailand, would also be an added advantage.
