Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Monitor all in/outbound shipments at the factories; enforce shipping schedule/rules with the teams and ensure the right service provider/service type is chosen to optimize this function
• Identify areas for process improvements/costing saving
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarter report and/or Adhoc report requested by Manager
• Coordinate with the Logistics team from other business unit (BU) to find solutions and resolve day-to-day shipping issues
• Coordinate between 3 rd party couriers/ freight forwarders and BU to process shipping requests
• Review shipping invoices and proceed for recording in the system
• Coordinate with the accounting and finance team for any payment issue or concern
• Manage department filing system including insurance claims, custom entries, shipping activities etc.
• Manages company inventories on shipping related materials
• Keep all shipping-related data in the system accurate and remains update
• Prepare shipping paperwork as required (ie. Commercial Invoice)
• Create and control the log number for repair items
• Apply for CARNET/TIB as required

Requirements and background :

• Associate degree and above, preferably in Logistics or related studies
• Minimum 3 years of experiences in shipping/logistics with exposure to international shipments
• In-depth knowledge and experience in shipping terms as well as ocean freight and airfreight operations, etc.
• Pro-active, organized, details oriented and good communication skill
• Good analytical ability to gather and interpret information and able to develop, recommend and implement solutions
• English is a must
• Proficient in MS Office
