About the Team The Southeast Asia (SEA) Regional Business team within Global Business Solutions partners with leading agencies and market players to accelerate user growth and marketing success. We do this by delivering tailored strategies, advanced measurement solutions, ad tech integrations, and innovative platform offerings.
As an Agency Partner Manager – Cross Border, you will be responsible for growing our cross-border agency business. You will lead efforts to scale and acquire new opportunities, while serving as a trusted advisor to agencies and brands. Your work will empower partners to achieve measurable results with ByteDance platforms, and ensure strong alignment with global strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strategic relationships with cross-border agencies and brands.
- Define and execute account plans to unlock investment and achieve client business goals.
- Serve as a trusted consultant across the full-funnel digital media and e-commerce landscape.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations using market insights, case studies, and product collateral.
- Retain and grow advertiser revenue while consistently exceeding quarterly sales targets.
- Provide agencies and brands with best-in-class service, insights, and enablement programs, including training and certification.
- Identify opportunities and challenges, and align cross-functional support to deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with internal global and regional teams across product, marketing, legal, engineering, and sales to design and execute strategic initiatives.
- Brainstorm, propose, and implement advertising solutions on TikTok products that drive measurable client outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends, identify opportunities, and develop business cases for new products and solutions.
- Ensure smooth campaign execution by working closely with cross-functional partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in ad tech sales, digital media planning, or strategy roles.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, ad tech ecosystems, and measurement for branding and performance campaigns.
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business impact.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required to communicate with agencies/clients in China
