Head of Human Resources – Thailand

As the Head of Human Resources for TCL's Thailand subsidiary, you will be responsible for leading and managing all HR functions for the local entity. You will serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager while ensuring alignment with headquarters on global HR initiatives.

This role requires a hands-on HR leader who can effectively balance strategic HR planning with operational execution in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Management

Oversee and manage all core HR functions for the Thailand entity, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational design, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and HR operations.

Lead annual headcount planning, workforce budgeting, and organizational restructuring initiatives in collaboration with headquarters and business leaders.

Drive key HR initiatives from headquarters through local implementation, including employee engagement, talent review, succession planning, and other strategic HR projects.

Act as a strategic HR partner to the General Manager and management team by providing HR insights and recommendations that support business objectives.

  • HR Systems, Policies & Process Development

Develop, refine, and standardize HR policies, processes, and systems for the Thailand entity to ensure operational effectiveness, legal compliance, and alignment with global HR standards.

Continuously review and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Lead the local HR team in implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures consistently and fairly.

  • Talent Acquisition

Take ownership of recruitment KPIs and ensure the timely and effective hiring of qualified candidates for critical positions across the Thailand organization.

Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Proactively identify and source high-quality talent through appropriate recruitment channels.

  • Compensation & Benefits Strategy

Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits frameworks that support business objectives, employee engagement, and talent retention.

Conduct market benchmarking and provide recommendations on salary structures, benefits, and incentive programs.

Partner with the General Manager and relevant stakeholders to develop incentive plans that drive performance and align with the Thailand entity's P&L objectives.

  • Team Leadership

Lead, manage, and mentor the Thailand HR team, fostering a professional, collaborative, supportive, and people-centric culture.

Develop team capabilities and ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations within the HR function.

  • Compliance & Labor Relations

Ensure full compliance with Thai labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.

Provide guidance to management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, labor issues, and other HR-related legal matters.

Support and coordinate with internal and external legal teams on statutory audits, compliance reviews, and other legal matters as required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources and General Administration, with demonstrated experience managing multiple HR functions.

Previous experience in an HR leadership or managerial role is highly preferred.

Professional Knowledge

Strong knowledge and practical experience across core HR functions, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational planning, employee and labor relations, training and development, performance management, HRIS, and general administration.

Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.

Experience working in a multinational or multicultural organization is highly preferred.
