Introduction

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking an Associate Partner (AP) to be a senior go to market and delivery role as part of the Banking consultant team . The role is responsible for leveraging their experience to work with Business, Technology and Operations Executives in key banking clients to identify and structure transformational programs to drive business outcomes.
Your Role and Responsibilities

• Originate advisory mandates for core banking process transformation opportunities
• Meet sales and delivery target metrics
• Create and deliver solutions with excellence leveraging IBM technology assets and accelerators
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with senior client stakeholders
• Be regarded as both an industry expert and practical solution implementer
• Manage the financial planning, internal approval process, contract negotiations, staffing for new projects
• Ensure the success and profitability for all work done within the projects
• Ability to navigate thru complex and matrixed organization
• Work collaboratively across GBS service lines

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in a top consulting firm or a bank.

• Experience in leading front to back transformation and process reengineering initiatives
• Successful track record in leading complex advisory projects
• Banking industry expertise including Finance, Operations, Lending, Credit, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance.
• Relationships with COO, CIO, and other senior functional & business leaders in banking industry
• Demonstrable business development track record
• Strong track record of managing client relationships.
