Business Development Manager

atHealthLink (Thailand) Limited

Seeking a Thai national to work closely with the Managing Director to introduce new technology and operational processes to the Insurance and Healthcare sectors in Thailand.

To generate new business, develop relationships with new clients at "C" level, make sales visits and presentations, maintain advanced knowledge of our bespoke technology and services, and jointly establish and meet sales goals.

Promotional prospects to executive leadership roles within the Company are excellent.

New Business

  1. Develop and expand a portfolio of corporate clients by networking, marketing and establishing good long-term relationships
  2. Establish sales goals and implement a plan to meet those goals
  3. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
  4. Track progress toward goals and document sales performance
  5. Negotiate long-term contracts with clients.

New Business Support Activities

  1. Coordinate with outsourced digital marketing partners
  2. Prepare sales visits and presentations to promote services to targeted organisations
  3. Demonstrate technology
  4. Create marketing literature and have input into digital marketing strategies to promote brand awareness and services.

People Management

  1. Coordinate sales effort with team members
  2. Set expectations for quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work expected from the outsourced marketing partners
  3. Provide excellent leadership to help people perform at their best
  4. Conduct regularly scheduled one to one meeting to discuss activities, priorities, progress, and problems
  5. Completion of annual performance reviews for all direct reports and outsourced business partners.

Industry Knowledge

  1. Develop knowledge of the Insurance and Healthcare IT industry, and stay updated on trends and innovative products
  2. Attend industry events to promote services and learn about new developments and trends.
  • Proven work experience as a business development and sales executive with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Strong business acumen combined with good understanding of technology
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in both Thai and English
  • Ability to meet goals with high energy level
  • Motivation and ambition.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Marketing (will look at other relevant experience)
  • Experience with digital marketing
  • Knowledge of Insurance or Health industry sectors
  • Experience managing people
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
