• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve event and catering revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, social, wedding, MICE, private functions, and other event segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, wedding planners, PCOs, DMCs, and key accounts.
• Proactively conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, presentations, and sales activities to generate business.
• Manage event and catering enquiries from initial contact through negotiation, contracting, and handover to the operations team.
• Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, packages, and contracts in line with client requirements and hotel commercial strategies.
• Negotiate rates, packages, terms, and conditions while maximizing revenue, profitability, and business value.
• Collaborate closely with Banquet Operations, Culinary, Revenue Management, Rooms, Marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, account information, and activity reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to identify new revenue streams.
• Develop and maintain an active network within Bangkok's luxury hospitality, corporate, MICE, and event industries.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback to strengthen relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Ensure all sales activities and client interactions consistently reflect the hotel's luxury brand standards and service philosophy.
• Support the Director of Sales & Marketing with strategic sales initiatives, business reviews, and revenue planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Event Sales, Catering Sales, MICE, Banquet Sales, or related hospitality sales roles.
• Previous experience in a five-star luxury hotel is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating event and catering revenue.
• Strong knowledge of the Bangkok luxury hotel, MICE, corporate, and social events market.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify business opportunities and convert enquiries into confirmed revenue.
• Excellent command of English and Thai, both written and spoken.
• Professional appearance, confidence, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.
