Job Summary

The Key Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company's most important clients. This role focuses on maintaining long-term partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within assigned key accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients

Act as the main point of contact between the company and assigned accounts

Understand clients' business goals and challenges

  • Sales & Revenue Growth

Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within key accounts

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Develop strategic account plans and business reviews

  • Strategic Planning

Build account strategies aligned with company objectives

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions

  • Customer Satisfaction

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention

Resolve issues promptly and effectively

Monitor service performance and improve customer experience

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams

Coordinate internal resources to meet client needs

Support product launches and promotional plans

  • Reporting & Analysis

Track performance metrics (sales, profitability, KPIs)

Prepare regular reports and forecasts

Provide insights and recommendations to management

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

MBA is a plus

Experience

5+ years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development from FMCG, especially in Personal Care shop (Watsons/Boots)

Experience managing large or strategic accounts preferred

Skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability

Relationship management and customer focus

Analytical skills and data-driven decision making

Ability to work cross-functionally
