About this opportunity:

Ericsson is seeking an analytical and forward-thinking Business Analyst to join our expanding team. In this crucial role, you will not only conduct meticulous financial analyses and projections based on our unit's targets, but you'll also craft and convey insightful reports that aid critical business decisions. As our Business Analyst, you will act as the lynchpin of our financial planning and performance evaluations; ensuring our processes are in line with global protocols and designed to endorse value-creation.


Key Responsibilities


Financial & Performance Management

  • Drive financial quality and integrity in reporting across P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Support forecasting and planning cycles with focus on accuracy, business insight, and business improvements.
  • Promote a culture where forecasting is used as a decision-making tool, not just a reporting requirement.
  • Use performance analytics to identify revenue, cost, and risk drivers.
  • Support target setting and business plan development for MA and sub-units.
  • Enforce strong data governance, Financial model consistency, and financial assumptions across functions.
  • Track and manage aging balances and long-tail OPEX to ensure clean and reliable financials.


Drive Business Performance & Value Creation

  • To support continuous improvement
  • Identify financial and operational irregularities or inefficiencies; recommend and track corrective actions.
  • Translate complex business dynamics into financial impact analysis and actionable insights.
  • Deliver use cases for business units and transformation programs (e.g., LTC, PTBE).
  • Strong analytics on margin improvement (product mix analysis, pricing insights, and commercial discipline).
  • Support the strategy team and management with financial models, scenario analysis, and simulations.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to link business operations to financial outcomes.
  • Support driving commercial disciplines


Risk Management And Process Improvement

  • Support continuous improvement in financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial models and directives
  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks; work closely with Financial control
  • Provide finance support for process improvement in Presales, AoS, and other key operations
  • Drive automation, standardization, and finance process optimization where possible.


STAKEHOLDER Management & Business Partnership

  • Building Strategic partnership across functions and stakeholders
  • Shape and influence business decisions through strategic finance collaboration.
  • Trusted advisor to business leaders, translating financial data into business strategies.
  • Orchestrate financial information across functions for holistic decision support.
  • Deliver clear, compelling storytelling and presentations to communicate financial narratives to senior leadership.
  • Design impactful data visualizations and dashboards to enhance performance understanding.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Commercial, Operations, HR, and Transformation teams.
  • Lead or support key strategic projects and enterprise-wide initiatives from a finance perspective.


The skills you bring:

    • Strong financial understanding, business acumen
    • Basic techno-commercial acumen shall be an advantage
    • Strong analytical skill on What drive revenues, cost and risks drivers
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills. Storytelling ability is required.
    • Data Visualization and presentation design skills (Executive presentation, power BI, big data etc) is a strong point

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Certified Accountant/Business Analyst is preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Analyst/Business Analyst
    • Strong leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
    • A deep understanding of various financial instruments and market dynamics analysis.
