Due to our business expansion, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Business Consultant to join our organization.

Your Purpose of the role:

Your main priority is to provide in-depth product, industry and best practices business consultancy on SS&C's market leading solutions. You will be involved in all phases of implementation projects as well as a number of smaller client related projects and pre-sales opportunities. Also to provide the necessary skills to advise and consult within the investment management marketplace on best practice methodologies on how to utilize SS&C's products and solutions.

• Provide specialist business knowledge into existing and prospect clients.
• Interaction with solution heads and key stakeholders within sales, development and support teams within SS&C Global Solutions.
• Provide guidance and product knowledge sharing to team members.
• The team carries responsibility for clients in within the region. Therefore travel and working-week stay-overs can feature significantly in this role, with much of the work being performed on client sites. Travel may be required to other regions if required.
• Provide regular input into team knowledge store.
• Participate and lead in solution user and special interest groups
• Commercial awareness for new business opportunities
• Produce white papers on industry specific topics for internal and external publication

• Educated to degree level or holds a professional qualification. May have a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, or other business qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of working experiences
• Expert in consultancy. The principles, processes and practices associated with consultancy in the IT environment.
• Proficient in Project Management. Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation.
• Familiar with The business environment relating to own sphere of work (own organisation and/or closely associated organisations, such as customers, suppliers, partners), in particular those aspects of the business.
• Acquiring a proper understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts, selecting the appropriate method/tool to resolve the problem and reflecting on the result, such that learning is identified and absorbed.
• Displays good inter-personal skills at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations, demonstrating the ability to listen and influence, and to relate to customers in their own language.
• Is highly experienced in communicating with clients at all levels, singly and in groups. Possesses an extensive knowledge of business and business Skills.
