Job Title: Skate Manager

Job Type: 6 Months Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Skate Manager to join our team. The Skate Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skatepark, managing the staff, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all skaters.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the skatepark, including scheduling, staffing, and maintenance.

Manage and lead the skatepark staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.

Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all skaters by enforcing rules and regulations, and promoting good sportsmanship.

Develop and maintain relationships with local skateboarding communities, including organizing events and competitions.

Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgets to ensure efficient operations.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and well-maintained facility.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a skatepark or similar facility.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for skateboarding and knowledge of skatepark operations and industry trends.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media, and other computer applications.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, or related field (preferred)
