Construction Manager, CSA Chonburi, Thailand | On-Site | Permanent About DayOne DayOne builds and operates hyperscale data centers across nine markets in APAC and Europe. We raised US$4.5B in Series C funding and are in active build across the region. In Chonburi, we are developing one of Southeast Asia's most significant greenfield data center campuses on a path to Thailand's first 1GW platform. The CSA scope on this build is central to everything.

About the Role

You'll own the civil, structural, and architectural construction scope on a live hyperscale data center project in Chonburi — from design coordination and installation oversight through to first-of-kind sign-off, QA/QC, and handover. This is a technically demanding, hands-on role. You'll be expected to speak fluently to the specifics of your own project experience, not describe it in general terms. Design and Planning

• Review and provide technical input to CSA design plans, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate CSA requirements into overall facility design. Construction Oversight
• Manage installation and construction of CSA systems on site, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and verify quality of installations.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers — coordinate schedules and resolve conflicts to keep the CSA program on track. Reporting and Program Control
• Prepare weekly and monthly programme updates including high-level milestone tracking, S-curve reports, and Earned Value Management analysis against plan.
• Prepare reports on project progress, delays, and defects, along with supporting technical analysis. First-of-Kind, QA/QC, and Handover
• Review and sign off on first-of-kind works, mock-ups, and CSA inspections to confirm proper functionality and performance.
• Coordinate QA/QC verification and defects clearance with contractors and stakeholders before handover.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues arising during construction and handover phases.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in CSA construction management, preferably in data center or comparable mission-critical environments.
• Demonstrated, specific experience with facade, architectural openings, waterproofing, and interior finishes including walls, floors, and ceilings — candidates should be able to speak to their own project scope in detail.
• Direct experience preparing and reviewing S-curve reports and Earned Value Management analysis.
• Direct experience with first-of-kind and mock-up review, QA/QC verification, and defects clearance processes on an active construction site.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit. Familiarity with BIM tools is an advantage.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• English and Thai required for site-level coordination and local authority engagement. Soft Skills
• Discusses their own CSA project experience with enough technical specificity to be assessed against real scope, not general project management language.
• Manages multiple contractors and trades simultaneously without losing oversight of quality or program.
• Identifies and escalates technical and program risks early, before they affect the broader construction schedule. Nice to Have
• Data center or mission-critical project experience specifically.
• Familiarity with CONQUAS or an equivalent QA framework.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, or Power BI for program reporting. Why DayOne?
