Guest Relations Manager (Phuket)

Collars Hospitality is seeking for an active, energy-driven, cordial and insightful Guest Relations Manager to join our operations team. We are currently entering an exciting period of the launch of our first project this year (Collars Concierge by Collars Hospitality), so willingness to go the extra mile is a must! The successful candidate will be based in Phuket working directly from their home, liaising with the head office in Bangkok. The GRM will also act as the main representative for the company as a destination manager. Must have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and nights

The successful candidate will be proactive, dedicated in advising customers and intuitive in all areas of the role. As this role requires engaging and interacting with customers.

Experience in the hospitality or tourism sector is preferable, with a proven track record in past experiences. We would be particularly keen to meet a candidate who has worked in a hotel previously or are open to work in a start-up environment and to "grow" with the company.

  • Handle all guest compliments, comments, observations and complaints timely and effectively achieving full guest satisfaction
  • Communicate all guest compliments, comments, observations to relevant departments and ensuring follow up
  • Ensure New Hire training and continuation of service standard training and safety training for all colleagues occurs in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate communication of information and guest requests to and from colleagues and guests
  • Meets all VIP guests
  • Manages coordination of all VIP Amenities with Executive Office for Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge, Front Office, Reservations and Sales with hotel properties
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest quality database relating to Guest History
  • Analyses guest preferences and prepares reports for improvement on Guest Satisfaction
  • Responsible for achieving and maintaining high guest retention ratio
  • Other duties as assigned by the head office
  • 2+ years Front Office management experience; luxury hotel segment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field (preferred)
  • Superior communication skills; fluency in English is required
  • Computer literate to include Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Demonstrated multi-tasker with a commitment to superior guest service
  • Thai driver's licence and have the ability to drive
